[Continuation of Budapest: Part I]
When I arrived back at the hostel (directly before my afternoon nap that was mentioned at the end of the last post), I ran into a few people that looked to be around my age. One of them was the guy who had been working the desk at the hostel earlier that day and with him was a girl from Canada, a girl from Japan & an impressively tall guy from Poland. I soon found out that they are all engineers in the same program and that they are currently working in Budapest. I also discovered that they had just ordered one of the most insanely large pizzas that I had ever seen—apparently the Polish guy had not eaten anything in over 24 hours. We talked for a while, including a pretty heated argument between the Canadian girl and me over the fact that I think “The Big Bang Theory” is one of the most horrible things to happen to television since Michael Jackson did that terrifying interview about boys sleeping in his bed with him at Neverland Ranch. We chatted a little while long and they eventually invited me to join them for a concert that they were all attending later that night.
